SANUS NURSING JOURNAL

Nursing as a discipline and as a profession fulfills various functions in society, where care is a fundamental part of the commitment that health sciences acquire with society, with the well-being of the population as a priority. Within these functions, research generates knowledge that establishes the theoretical-practical basis of care, which throughout history has managed to raise the social and scientific status of nursing in Mexico.

ABOUT US?

We are a group of nursing teachers and professionals who contribute to the development of nursing science, motivated by the increase in research work in our discipline, the desire was born to have a nursing magazine of the Department of Nursing of the University of Sonora, which materialized in 2016, as a result of the work of teachers and researchers, which is called SANUS Nursing Magazine whose meaning in Latin is Well-being.

SANUS Nursing Magazine is aimed at researchers, students and nursing professionals at a local, national and international level.

FOCUS AND SCOPE

SANUS is an electronic Nursing Journal, with continuous annual edition, refereed and open access, free of charge, edited by the Interdisciplinary Faculty of Biological and Health Sciences of the University of Sonora, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

Mission: SANUS Nursing Magazine contributes to the advancement of scientific knowledge and professional nursing practice through the publication of original scientific articles, reviews and case studies of national and international origin in the area of nursing and health sciences, respecting good editorial practices for scientific publications.

Vision: SANUS Nursing Magazine by the year 2033 will be recognized as an electronic journal of national reference in terms of scientific production for nursing science in our country, with international projection, contributing to the dissemination of disciplinary scientific knowledge, supported by good national and international editorial practices for the review, publication and dissemination of articles that contribute to the growth of state, national and international nursing.

SANUS Nursing Magazine does not publish letters to the editor, essays, opinion articles, biographies, etc.

Being an open access journal, SANUS Revista de Enfermería does not apply costs for submitting manuscripts to the editorial process, and plagiarism checker in Ithenticate® for more details see the new submission or editorial policies section.

FINANCING

SANUS Nursing Magazine, has the support of the Directorate of Support for Linkage and Dissemination, through the Head of Production and Editorial Development of the University of Sonora, it is free access, there is no charge for the editorial process of the articles received and accepted for publication.
