Peer Review

All articles sent to SANUS Revista de Enfermería are reviewed by the Editorial Committee, which verifies full compliance with the criteria requested in the manuscript preparation section, as well as the thematic relevance of the article for the journal. If you do not comply with any of these guidelines, the author will be informed for modification or decline.

After this review, the articles are sent to peer reviewers, who assess their scientific and academic quality, ensuring double-blind review (preserving the anonymity of authors and reviewers).

SANUS Revista de Enfermería takes a period of no more than 180 days to notify authors if their article was accepted by peer reviewers for publication.

Once the opinions of external peer reviewers have been received, an editorial decision is made, which may be: acceptance without modifications, acceptance with modifications (minor or major), or rejection.

If the article is accepted with modifications, it is returned to the authors, and they will have a period of ten business days to send the manuscript with the pertinent corrections.

Once the manuscript is accepted with any necessary adjustments and clarifications, it goes to style correction, in which process the particular style of each author is respected. This correction is one of form, never of content. Authors will have two days to approve the copyeditor's adjustments. If you do not receive notification of the style editor's observations within the established time, it is understood that the author accepts the suggestions.

Subsequently, contact is established between the author and the translation firm to obtain the english version, to subsequently publish the final versions of the article.
